What data we collect

When you place an order we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your shipping and billing address
• Your order details
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

If you sign up to our mailing list (via the form on our site or by purchasing), we collect your name and email address.

How we use your data

• To process and fulfil your order
• To send your order confirmation email
• To send you news and updates if you have subscribed to our mailing list
• To comply with our legal obligations

Third parties we share data with

• Stripe — payment processing. Your payment data is handled directly by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (order confirmations).
• Kit (ConvertKit) — newsletter and mailing list management.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery. Cloudflare may process basic request data (such as IP addresses) as part of providing hosting services.

How long we keep your data

Order data is retained for up to 6 years in line with financial record-keeping requirements. Mailing list subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data

Order not yet shipped

If your order has not yet been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible and we will cancel it and issue a full refund including any shipping paid. Email us at contact@maximumlove.co.uk with your order number.

Returns after dispatch (change of mind)

You may return items within 14 days of receiving them. To start a return, contact us within those 14 days. Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and packaging.

You are responsible for the cost of return postage in all cases. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Once we receive the returned goods, we will refund the item cost only — original shipping is not refunded. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return.

Faulty or damaged items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 14 days with your order number and a photo of the damage. We will offer a replacement or a refund of the item cost at your choice. Please contact us before sending anything back.

Exceptions

• Digital download codes — Bandcamp download codes are non-refundable once redeemed. If your code has not yet been redeemed and you wish to return the physical item it was bundled with, contact us and we will discuss on a case-by-case basis.
• Sale items — items purchased at a discount are still eligible for return under this policy.
